Our Vision
CSA Select succeeds by providing a fun, developmental and wholesome experience for our players so that they ultimately fall in love with the beautiful game of soccer. Our vision is to be a part of raising healthy, responsible & productive children through the game of soccer
Our Mission
The mission of CSA Select is to enhance the community by providing an opportunity for our youth to play soccer at the highest level that they aspire.
Coaching Staff
Our coaching staff is a cooperative combination of dedicated parents and professional coaches. All of our parent coaches and professional coaches are licensed by either the US Soccer Federation (USSF) or the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Our head coaches are required to earn at least a USSF “D” license. Several have more advanced licenses and specialized training. All of our coaches are also certified and adhere to the tenets of the positive coaching alliance to provide a positive, developmental coaching style in a competitive setting.
Player Development
Our primary focus is player development. Our leagues do not relegate teams until 12 years old for the girls and 11 years old for the boys. We have a USSF “A” licensed technical director that oversees player development by offering weekly technical skills and agility training and conducts periodic assessments of our coaching staff. We also typically have 2, or more teamsin each age group to provide the right level of competition for every select player. As a result, we have a consistent, structured environment which is critical to allow our players to developat their own pace and reach their personal goals.
Our Results
Many of our players move on to being starters on middle school and high school teams the first year they attend the school. Some enter the Olympic Development Program and even continue on to play soccer in college and beyond. Most importantly, these children grow into future responsible leaders of the community with strong values, character and the persistence to face and overcome life’s challenges.
